They are pioneers in the application of business law to blockchain. # Reforestation Discover our reforestation objectives and projects My Lovely Planet has set a crazy, ambitious and ultra motivating objective of planting 1 Billion trees over 10 years! We chose to plant trees to protect the environment because they are one of the most effective way (the most effective we could identify) of preventing and mitigating Climate change, but at the same time the loss of Biodiversity, drinkable water issues and even help fighting social injustice in poor countries. Together with millions of players from our game, we will have a real positive impact on the future, as Edward the Fox would say! 2023 was our first planting year, and from January 2023 to April 2025 we planted more than 375 000 trees, with well known partners like Veritree in Kenya, Eden Reforestation and now Graine de Vie in Madagascar, and even some ourselves in France in very local reforestation projects ;) 1. **Global Large Scale projects** A large part of our Reforestation funding is aimed at large scale, global projects with partners and sites where the need for reforestation is intense and amounts in millions of trees. In Madagascar, since May 2024, My Lovely Planet has engaged in an amazing large agroforestry Trees plantation project at “La Montagne d’Ambre”, or Amber Mountain in english, with a locally well implanted NGO: Graine de Vie.

For our first year on this project, we planted 200 000 trees in the Amber Mountain vicinity, and funded the tree nurseries where local inhabitants come and learn how to collect seeds, grow trees and plant them! Such a reforestation project not only helps the climate and the soil, but also brings works, revenue and food to local populations (50% of the planted tree species produce something that the population can use or eat). **In Kenya,** we have been funding the planting of more than 120 000 trees to restore a Mangrove on the shores of Indian Ocean. Mangroves are essential natural assets to protect shore lands from erosion and floods, and a large part of world’s mangroves have been destroyed by man over the last decades. Restoring them is essential to protect lands and inhabitants who live by the sea.

2. **Local innovative and research projects** We also focus on financing innovative and promising reforestation projects and methods to help local actors reforest zones endangered by climate change. In France, our latest project was realized in a Jura’s forest, where trees are massively dying from climate change (which creates at the same time overheating, dryness and increase in dangerous insects populations) and the mountainous topography makes traditional tree planting methods ineffective. We worked with a local foresting company, Coforêt, and a drone partner to be able to sow a million seeds above the whole area, implanted species more adapted to the climate and hoping to save the forest. We will be following results from this experiment with our partner in the coming year.

4. **Agroforestry: and for those who want to know more about Agroforestry, read the rest!!**\ \ So, what is agroforestry we talked about for this new Madagascar Project? * In a nutshell, agroforestry is a way of planting trees with a farming objective and in a way that imitates nature. Instead of having immense acres lands with one or 2 varieties like we often see, We will grow many varieties in a much denser plantation that can at the same time continue to benefit people long into the future, producing nutritious leaves, nuts, fruits and seeds that can be eaten to improve diets, or sold to boost incomes. We even include bushes, flowers, and other plants that we do not even count in our tree planted numbers. These denser and varied plantations also allow for a much more positive effect on biodiversity, small animals, insects and soil preservation (in a natural forest, trees and bushes of various sizes grow in a dense way).

How do we run this Reforestation project locally, with our NGO partner Graine de Vie? * All around the planting site, together with communities, we pick species which are both adapted to the villagers own needs, and also well-suited to a changing climate, and the erratic droughts and flooding which are now commonplace in the region. This is what is called ‘climate-smart agriculture’ or CSA approach – working with local communities to ensure the trees planted on or around their lands interest them in the long term. The more THEY want to protect those trees, the longer and better those trees will live and grow, instead of being chopped for timber someday! How is this beneficial to biodiversity, soil protection and fighting social injustice? * With agroforestry methods, neighbor villagers can help each other by learning to grow their own plants, having a high diversity of trees, crops, bushes, which can all benefit the community. Everything is useful : the fallen leaves and cut branches are used in mulching and composting to enrich and protect the soils, the high density of vegetation and dense network of roots below ground create a much better water retention and also protects soil from wind and water erosion effects; and of course, the products from the plantations (50 % of planted species product fruits or nuts) are eaten or sold to earn an income: in these countries, 90% of the inhabitants are depending on nature production to live, so these free training, tools and plants are a huge help for local population! # Environmental protection The unifying power of gaming combined with the innovation of the web3 to generate the world's largest movement for environmental protection. ## Mission: The purpose of My Lovely Planet is to use the **power of gaming and blockchain** to make **huge positive environmental impact** for 3 of the main environmental issues we are facing: * Carbon capture through reforestation and the protection of existing forests. * To clean up the ocean by stopping plastic from flowing into it and cleaning plastics that are already in it. * Protection of biodiversity and animal welfare.

The 'Token remaining locked in vesting' are the token that will gradually become available during the vesting period. ### Step 2. Claim your $MLC IMPORTANT: Before claiming your tokens, please, make sur the $MLC is added to your MetaMask. If the $MLC token is not added on your MetaMask, then your tokens will not be visible in your wallet, even if claimed. First, visit this page to add $MLC to your MetaMask, and come back once added: Once the $MLC is added to your MetaMask, you can claim your tokens. A pop-up from your wallet should appear, to validate and sign the transaction, and confirm your claim. Once claimed, a pop-up window will appear on your dashboard, confirming the transaction. Your $MLC will appear as '$MLC in connected wallet' on your dashboard and will be visible in your wallet. ### Step 3. Distribution Calendar Your distribution calendar is available below 'Bought tokens' on your dashboard. This calendar details the number of tokens that will be available to claim gradually, over the vesting period. The number of tokens is set monthly on the calendar, but you will be able to claim your tokens on a daily basis. Each time you want to claim tokens, please, do the whole claiming process again.

# How to transfer your $MLC on MEXC, and sell them In this article, we're going to see step-by-step how to send your MLC from MetaMask to MEXC and sell them on MEXC. ## Step 1: Get your Polygon public address from MEXC First, connect to your account on MEXC (with your email / password and Google Authenticator code for example), or create one if you don't have one yet.

Once connected to your account, click on 'Wallet' and 'Deposit'.

Then, click on the asset type, search for 'MLC' and select it in the list.

Once selected, the network will appear. Click in the white rectangle below to generate an address to transfer your tokens to. A Polygon address will appear, with a symbol to copy it on the side, as shown on the picture. ## Step 2: Transfer your $MLC from MetaMask to MEXC Open your MetaMask wallet, click on your ML and click 'Send'. In the empty box, copy/paste your Polygon address from MEXC (the address generated at the end of step 1), select the amount of $MLC you want to send and click 'Next'. **Please note:** We advice you to first send a small amount of $MLC to make sure everything works and your $MLC arrive to your MEXC account. Then, send more if you want. Transaction fees are low on Polygon, so this is a worthy safety step in our opinion.

You can then click 'Confirm'. The transaction state should appear in your wallet.

Within a few minutes, the transaction state should update on your MEXC account, and your $MLC should be visible in your spot assets ('Wallet' -> 'Spot').

To sell your $MLC, click on 'Spot' in the top-menu, and select 'Spot'. In the following page, search for $MLC in the search-bar and select it. Once the $MLC listed on MEXC, its price will appear in the middle of the window. Choose how to want to sell (Limit to sell at a certain price / Market to sell at the current market price, etc).
